ICTP's preliminary Scientific Calendar 2014--an annual offering of conferences, workshops and schools held at its Trieste campus as well as throughout the developing world--is now available to users online.
Scientific Calendar activities provide an international forum of scientific contact for scientists from around the world. Participants gain access to a network of some of the top scientists in their fields, and are exposed to the latest advances and techniques in physics and mathematics.
Topics for activities are not restricted to theory; hands-on training for computer-intensive subjects is also offered. The activities attract renowned scientists as lecturers, including a large number of Nobel Laureates and Fields Medallists.
Scientific Calendar activities are conducted either at ICTP's modern conference facilities or at international locations, often in developing countries. Many of the activities based in Trieste are available for viewing online, thanks to ICTP's automated recording system Open EyA.
